What a Scope is
A Scope is an independent planning section inside one Shop project. A Scope can represent a floor, elevation, film type, crew, installation day, phase, or another part of the work that needs its own planning context.
What stays independent
Each Scope can have its own windows, Groups, selected film, pricing context, photos, cut plan, and Film Handler production plan. Each Scope supports up to 50 unique window rows. Quantities on a row do not consume additional rows.
What stays shared
The customer and overall project record remain shared. This lets the shop prepare one project while keeping material, pricing, and production decisions separate where needed.

When to add a Scope
- A section needs a different film or pricing context.
- A floor, phase, or work area needs its own cut plan.
- A Shop project would exceed 50 unique window rows in one Scope and can be divided logically.
- Photos or production planning must stay with a specific part of the project.
Availability
Scopes are included with Shop. Solo and Flex use separate jobs when work needs an independent plan or exceeds the 20-row per-job limit.
Use Groups when the panes only need labels for rooms, elevations, phases, or handoff.
